Athens CAC Seeks Compassionate RN to Provide Sexual Assault Exams for Children

The Athens County Child Advocacy Center is seeking a compassionate RN interested in providing medical care for sexually assaulted youth and working with multidisciplinary team.

  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and family members.
  • To provide professional and compassionate forensic evidence collection for sexual assault victims
  • To ensure that evidence is collected according to the highest professional standards in order to protect the interests of both the alleged victim and the accused.
  • To avoid further trauma to victims of sexual assault in the healthcare environment.

Hours are as needed with compensation per exam. No benefits. Training consists of four days and all costs will be paid by the CAC.

We prefer those who can make a minimum two year commitment, or who have permanent roots in the Athens community.
